Responsibilities:

  • Manage the consolidation process for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for consolidated entities.
  • Coordinate with subsidiary accounting teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Perform intercompany eliminations and reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
  • Assist in managing and tracking the company’s fixed assets and leases, ensuring proper accounting and compliance with GAAP and relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842).
  • Coordinate the calculation and recording of depreciation for fixed assets and the amortization of leased assets.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of tax schedules, returns, and reports; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax requirements and filings.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for external auditors.
  • Monitor and analyze foreign currency translation adjustments and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Participate in special projects related to process improvements, system implementations, or other initiatives as needed.
  • Stay current with accounting standards and regulations, and ensure compliance in financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on consolidations and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
  • Experience with consolidation software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC, etc.) and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
