In this role, you will drive new OEM and Tier I customer relationships, unlocking growth in prototype tooling sales through a strategic selling process. Collaborating closely with our sales team, engineering, and site operations, you’ll introduce customers to the SyBridge team and our capabilities. The ideal candidate will excel at technical sales, offering a comprehensive, strategic view of SyBridge to customers in M&IS. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer visits, managing a large pipeline of opportunities, accurately forecasting sales, and serving as the primary SyBridge representative to OEM clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build technical partnerships with OEMs that generate long-term enterprise value.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide prototype solutions (SLA, 3D printing, urethane casting, aluminum tooling, etc.).
  • Acquire new customers within your territory and convert them into revenue-generating accounts.
  • Grow existing customer relationships, driving year-over-year (YoY) pipeline growth and increased sales.
  • Advance engagement with OEM engineering teams for front-end product development.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting using Salesforce and other software tools.
  • Frame the broader picture, communicating SyBridge’s vision and fostering collaboration for long-term OEM partnerships.
  • Develop and execute a process for senior-level customer acquisition, continuously refining it to enhance performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of injection mold, tooling, plastic processing, and assembly operations.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally with OEM or manufacturing clients.
  • Knowledge of OEM/Tier I business models and supply chain processes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Familiarity with SyBridge's product offerings and their applications in OEM operations.
  • Business connections within the injection molding and tooling sectors.
  • Deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow new customer relationships.
  • Proven success in driving commercial innovation and revenue growth.
  • Experience working within manufacturing sales organizations and collaborating across multiple functions.
  • Expertise in strategic enterprise sales, selling multiple technical products.
  • Creative problem-solver, able to find new ways to create value.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for customer-facing presentations.
  • Strong Excel skills for creating structured spreadsheets.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
