At SyBridge Technologies, we prioritize safety every day across all our Canadian locations. As our Health & Safety Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in our operations team, leading the charge on developing and implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you’ll partner with leadership and employees to create a proactive safety environment, minimize workplace risks, and champion a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with Operations Leadership to integrate safety programs into daily operations and foster a strong safety culture.
  • Assess, develop, and deliver impactful training tailored to site specific and regulatory needs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations, including OHSA and WHMIS.
  • Lead safety talks, audits, and monthly meetings, and provide actionable insights to reduce risks.
  • Manage WSIB claims, early and safe return-to-work programs, and cost containment strategies.
  • Oversee federal environmental reporting, permitting, and due diligence as required.
  • Support the development and execution of safety plans, including emergency response and hazard assessments.

What You Bring

  • A diploma, certificate, or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of OHSA, WHMIS, and Canadian safety standards.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to various SyBridge locations.
