Position Summary
The Corporate Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, monthly closing, and financial reporting for the corporate department within Sybridge. This role ensures accurate financial records, supports budgeting and forecasting, and provides financial analysis to drive operational efficiency and fast and accurate month, quarter, and annual consolidations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, month end closing, accounting principles, and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting & Analysis:
o Maintain and book bank and cash transactions in coordination with the business units.
o Perform bank and inter-co reconciliations.
o Record, review and analyze accrued expenses, prepaid, and amortizations entries.
o Calculate monthly interest expenses and book interest expenses.
o Perform assigned tasks for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Support the annual budget preparation process, including financial planning.
o Assist with periodic financial forecasts and operational performance analysis.
Lease & Asset Management:
o In conjunction with the Assistant Controller make sure that leases are correctly recorded across the company and inter-co balances.
o Maintain fixed asset records and ensure compliance with depreciation policies for Corp Assets (minimal).
Compliance & Controls:
o Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting regulations.
o Support various audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the corporate department of a manufacturing company.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, cash and bank management, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Sage 300, D365, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
