Position Summary

In support of the Mission and Vision of SyBridge Technologies Inc., the Handman is responsible for the Hand room and all duties pertaining to the final reflex insert hand finishes for SyBridge Technologies. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the (Handman ensures quality is a priority each and every time while also achieving time allowances for each job assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft slippage walls – will need to be very proficient with a handpiece and have a steady hand. Able to work hours at a time under the microscope for this procedure.
• Deburr reflex inserts – will need to have a very steady, skilled hand to deburr all the edges on a reflex electroform. This procedure is also performed under the microscope hours at a time.
• Polish – will be required to polish optic inserts and reflex insert boundaries as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints.
• Perform workpiece setup in an appropriate manner.

As required:

• Responsible for maintaining safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Responsible for maintaining the equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions, initiating repair work orders, etc.;
• Participate in required meetings and training, as requested.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• 3 years + Handman Experience

• Ability to perform under pressure and work independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required.

• Ability to ensure quality standards are met.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
• Proficient in time management and communication skills.
