Our Company

The U.S. construction permitting process is a black box. Over 500,000 forms and 20,000 processes, yet 95% of cities use the same building code. Every permitting delay costs businesses revenue, stalls expansion, and disrupts construction schedules.

Founded in 2022 by builders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, GreenLite eliminates permitting uncertainty for developers nationwide.
We combine AI-powered technology with an in-house team of registered architects, engineers, and city planners to deliver the fastest, most predictable path to permit approval. Our expert-led compliance process ensures plans are code-ready before submission, reducing revisions, delays, and costs.

GreenLite has raised $86M in venture funding from leading investors including Insight Partners, Energize Capital, Craft Ventures, LiveOak Ventures, Trust Ventures, and Chicago Ventures. National brands, including Walgreens, TD Bank, and Driven Brands, trust us to accelerate approvals, reduce risk, and unlock growth.

We're hiring an AI Enablement Engineer to embed with our operations, finance, and sales teams and make them dramatically more productive using AI. You'll spend your time identifying the workflows that eat people's days, then building custom Claude skills, prompts, and Cowork automations that take those workflows from hours to minutes. What is not possible in Claude, you will build in OpenClaw.

This is not a back-office tooling role. You'll sit with the people doing the work, understand it deeply, ship something useful within days, and iterate based on whether it actually gets used. You'll own the full loop: discovery → build → enablement → adoption → measurement.

The role is structured as a 6-month contract with formal review points at month 3 and month 6. Strong performers convert to full-time.

What You'll Do

  • Embed with ops, finance, and sales teams to identify the highest-friction, highest-frequency workflows worth automating

  • Build custom Claude skills, prompts, and Cowork automations that solve real problems for real people

  • Run training, office hours, and 1:1 enablement — your work is worth zero if no one uses it, so adoption is part of the job

  • Measure what works. Track usage, time saved, and qualitative wins. Kill what doesn't land.

  • Own documentation and team handoff. Maintain clear documentation of every skill, prompt, and automation you build, and ensure each team has an internal owner who can maintain and extend the work after you've moved on.

  • Share learnings with Product. Surface patterns from internal automations to the Product team — workflows that work well internally are often signals for functionality worth hardening into the GreenLite product itself.

  • Be the connective tissue between what's possible with AI and what our teams actually need

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine interest in working with people, not just code. You should want to sit next to a salesperson and watch them work.

  • CS degree or equivalent technical background (bootcamp, self-taught with shipped work, adjacent technical role)

  • 1–3 years of professional experience

  • Comfortable with Python, JavaScript, or similar — you'll be writing code, integrating APIs, and debugging your own work
