As Smartcar’s Senior Sales Manager you will own scaling your team from a revenue, team size and process perspective on the East Coast.
This role is remote within the United States and specifically on the East Coast. We'd love for you to join us!
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting each team member to build pipeline and achieve quota consistently.
- Provide regular sales updates for weighted pipeline and forecast discussions.
- Onboard, coach, and mentor your team to achieve their career aspirations while maintaining high retention on your team.
- Monitor every stage of the pipeline and provide support to AEs as required.
- Develop a strong understanding of Smartcar’s product, customer base, how our technology is used, and the value it provides.
- Stay up-to-date with the competitive landscape, our product offerings and our roadmap.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to share product feedback with engineering.
- Contribute to strengthening Smartcar’s sales process and sales tactics to fuel the company’s growth.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in a sales managerial role at a B2B SaaS company.
- 6+ years of experience in a quota carrying role at a B2B SaaS company.
- Experience managing a high performing sales organization at a SaaS company.
- Experience in an enterprise account executive role at a SaaS company.
- Successful track record of high quota attainment as a manager and individual contributor in enterprise sales.
- Track record of strong team morale and retention.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Bonus: Technical sales background.

Compensation and Benefits Package
- Base salary determined by years of experience: $140,000 - $200,000.
- OTE: $280,000 - $400,000 (50/50 split).
- Uncapped commissions.
- Equity.
- Remote work within the United States.

- 401K matching at 4%.

Interview Steps
- Intro Call: 30 minute phone call with Steven Stone to learn about your background and determine whether your skill set matches the role.
- Hiring Manager Video Call: 45 min video call with Laura Huddle to learn more about your background and for you to ask as many questions as you would like about the role.
- Team Meeting: 30 min video call with 3 members of the team for you to get to know who you would be working with and learn more about our sales process and culture.
- Take-Home Assignment: You will have 3 days to complete an assignment around building out a simplified sales plan to achieve your quota with a team of 4-5 AEs.
- Take-Home Assignment Review: Once your challenge is complete you will have a 45 min video call Laura Huddle and Chris Coppe to present your take-home assignment.
- Final Stage: This is a 2-part video interview where you will have a 45 minute behavioral interview with Sahas Katta, and a 30 minute demo with one member of our engineering team.
