Avathon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive with a proven track record in SaaS sales to Private Equity firms. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the PE landscape, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to articulate the value of our solutions to senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business by identifying, prospecting, and closing deals with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate the PE market, leveraging existing relationships and building new ones.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including General Partners, Operating Partners, and Portfolio Company Executives, to understand their pain points and present tailored solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to align strategies and enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting in the CRM system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to refine sales approaches.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with a strong preference for candidates who have sold to Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high-growth environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Private Equity ecosystem, including fund structures, investment strategies, and operational challenges.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to navigate complex deal structures and long sales cycles.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
