Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the development and evolution of our cloud infrastructure, test automation, and deployment pipelines, and build and enable a first class team to create and manage those systems. Urbint uses a modern services and container architecture and manages a mix of services deployed within Google Cloud, primarily through Google Container Engine (Kubernetes).

This role involves team leadership, strategy generation, and planning and collaboration with other groups to ensure the seamless operation, scalability, and reliability of our software systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in team leadership, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

● Lead and mentor infrastructure/SRE, test automation, and deployment pipeline teams.

● Develop and execute the vision for infrastructure and operations.

● Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure.

● Oversee the integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

● Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.

Who You Are:

● A collaborative and open leader, but practical and get your hands dirty in the code.

● Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

● At least 5-6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and/or test automation.

● Proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing teams.

● Expertise in cloud platforms (primarily Google Cloud) and IaC tools (Terraform,CloudFormation).

● Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and version control systems.

● Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

● Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

● Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash).

● Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.

● Knowledge of security best practices and compliance.

● Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
